The LCWSC is a community minded company and supports various organizations in Laurens County. In 2007 began a corporate sponsor of the Laurens and Clinton YMCA. Other organizations include United Way of Laurens County and March of Dimes. LCWSC Employees volunteer there time supporting fundraisers and assist in various community activities.

March of Dimes Campaign Results 2006
The first year the LCWSC became apart of the March of Dimes was a huge success.
The LCWSC team raised $2,154.00 which placed them 5th in the team standings.

United Way Laurens County
Total Pledge Goal for 2007 - $5,500
Total Pledge Goal for 2008 - $6,500

The LCWSC has received several awards for Campaign of Excellence and Stellar Campaign growth awards for 4 consecutive years. Several employee participate in volunteer opportunities throughout the year showing there support for the United Way. Volunteer activities include Untied Way day of caring in which many employees help to complete landscaping at the local YMCA. Click here to view photos of the event. – (have the pics to review)

The LCWSC also helped in the school drive collecting school supplies for area schools and participated in the United Way golf tournament at Musgrove Mill Golf Club.

Adopt a Highway
The LCWSC participates in the Adopt a Highway campaign for Laurens County. The stretch of highway is on Hwy 221 from the 127 By-Pass to Eckom Beach Road. There are five scheduled pick ups per year.
